Some theatre each day keeps the doctor away…

Watched a bit of Interstellar again tonight (a family member was watching it).  Do not go gentle into that good night, etc, etc.

What is wrong with gentleness to death?  Who wants to rage until the final second?  Yes, by all means, don’t retire and do nothing, and so on, but rage until the bitter end?

I imagine a life well lived is a life where you reach the end having raged enough.

To rage until the hunger goes away.

Does Stoppard still rage, I wonder?  Or does he merely play at minor things, having tackled enormities before?  (I shall hopefully see his new play soon – perhaps his last play, though one certainly hopes not by far.)
