Endgame
Saw Endgame with the STC tonight. Another Beckett to tick off the list. Very good. Hugo Weaving marvelous in the main role.
Pumpkin and goat’s cheese risotto with parmesan sprinkled on the top. Mini hamburgers. Arrancini. Deep fried in wonton wrappers (at least that’s how I’d describe it) duck dumplings. Tiny tartlet things which I have no idea what they were (they were savoury though). And alcohol.
There was a lovely decoration involving metal garbage cans (and lids) and ladders hanging from the ceiling of one of the little off-room they have in the foyer which the crowd sometimes spills into on opening night as well. Very thematic to the play, obviously.
