Saw Intimate Letters with the ACO tonight. Okay.
Do you look on someone who is loved with kinder eyes? I don’t mean to say someone who is loved by many, but merely only one or a few people. That is, is someone who is in a relationship, for instance, more favourably looked upon as someone who is single? And I don’t mean this in the sense that society has its norms regarding cohabitation and all that, but merely that the fact that someone is loved by someone else adds a certain value to them. (I was thinking about this during the concert, when the actors – who were dramatising some of Janacek’s letters – were talking.)
Forgot to take my headphones with me on the train tonight, so unsurprisingly I made a bit of headway in the novel.
