Shakespeare’s Metrical Art

leave a comment »

Received Shakespeare’s Metrical Art by George T. Wright in ze mail today.  Had a flick through.  Looks like it’s just what I need.  That, and financial security, companionship, a jetpack, a private limousine/chauffeur, charisma, luck, and a good dollop of fate sticking out its neck for me.  But the book’s a start.

Tomorrow, the power is to be off from 8am to 4pm.  I will, only figuratively I hope, die.  I was thinking, “oh, that’s okay – my laptop has a few hours of power in it for me to survive/ration myself on”, but then I realise that no, the internet requires power too, so even if my laptop works, the internet won’t.  The horror, dear reader, the horror!
