Some theatre each day keeps the doctor away…

I had an excellent, or at least rather intriguing, point to make about Angels in America this morning, and now I can’t remember it.  But fear not, Adam, fear not; see the matter instead of the lacunae.  Live the happy life.  Be the modest epicurean.

Do a few more cryptic crosswords, maybe.  I won a dictionary once, you know.

Finished season 3 of The Wire tonight.

Quote from the book.  I think I read it yesterday, but what’s a tick of chronology between a writer and his reader?  Leonardo copied it from Inferno (the Dante, not the Dan Brown novel, obviously):

“Lying in a featherbed will not bring you fame, nor staying beneath the quilt, and he who uses up his life without achieving fame leaves no more vestige of himself on earth than smoke in the air or foam upon the water.”

That’s either really motivating or suicide-inducing.  I haven’t decided which yet.

201/whatever.
