Some theatre each day keeps the doctor away…

Dance x 3

Finished Dance Dance Dance today.  A bit more sprawling, methinks, than the others I’ve recently read.  Which is nice.  I like a sprawling novel, its land of golden words…  (I’d continue in this Joycean take off of A Sunburnt Country (or whatever the poem’s called), but I can’t remember any more.)  (And it’s not Joycean, it’s just a parody.  Sheesh.)

“Sheesh” feels like a word Murakami would use.  I don’t know if he’s ever used it in his prose, but to me it feels Murakamian.

Murakamian.  I wonder if that will be the adjective.  You know, when he dies and keeps on living.

3/187 in South of the Border, West of the Sun.  That is, I’ve read the first paragraph.

Today I learned that the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra will be touring in Australia.  Here’s hoping I get tickets.
