Beautiful Minds

Saw Beautiful Minds with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra tonight.  Okay.  They played Fingal’s Cave by Mendelssohn, apparently the first time in Australia with period instruments.  That brought back a few memories, as one can imagine.  Not that it was too distressing.

21 lines on the play today.  Not a scrap of poetry.  Read twenty or so pages of Finnegans Wake, too, on the train on the way in and on the way back.  Didn’t last the whole train ride reading, though – only about halfway each time.  Can’t be bothered analysing why.  Probably was just tired.
